After making the Pisco Milk Punch No. 1, I promised my vegan friends that I would prepare a version they could enjoy. So into the Pisco lab I went with three kinds of vegan friendly milk: rice milk, almond milk, and soy milk. Several cocktails later, I can present the Pisco Milk Punch No. 2: almond milk, vanilla essence, sweet vermouth, Pisco, garnished with cinnamon powder.
INGREDIENTS
- 1 1/2 oz. Pisco
- 1/2 oz. sweet vermouth
- 1 oz. simple syrup
- 2 oz. almond milk
- 5 drops essence of vanilla
- cinnamon powder for garnish
PREPARATION
Pour the Pisco, sweet vermouth, and simple syrup into a glass and swirl to combine. Add the almond milk and essence of vanilla. Garnish with powdered cinnamon.
YIELD
1 serving.
NOTES
To prepare the simple syrup, mix equal parts water and sugar in a small saucepan, stir and bring to a boil until the sugar is dissolved. Let cool before using.
